Avent breast pumps
Avent ISIS iQ Uno
The Avent ISIS iQ Uno is a compact single-cup electronic breast pump, which is an evolution of the similar-looking manual model. Essentially it is a manual-electric hybrid, which provides you with the flexibility to use it simply as a manual pump, or powered by battery or mains. Its unique selling point is the iQ feature which "learns" your pumping rhythm, then continues it automatically at the touch of a button. If you need to adjust the rhythm or suction, simply touch the button again to resume manual control. The pump also has a special let-down massage cushion which massages the area around the nipple to simulate a feeding baby and stimulate your milk flow.
The Uno is very compact and self-contained, so there are no wires to get tangled around things as you use it. And you can use the collecting container to feed your baby directly by simply attaching an Avent teat - so you don't need to transfer milk to another bottle.

I've been using this pump for about 6 weeks. I chose it over the Medela because I like the Avent bottles and wanted to stick to one product and be able to pump directly into the bottles I'd be using. I think it works great - when I had my daughter 4 years ago I tried the Avent manual pump and liked the design, but found the manaul pumping a little tedious. This has the same design, but does the pumping for you. I have found the motor strong using both electricity and the battery pack. The only drawback is that the motor is attached to suction cup, so you're holding both while pumping and it gets a bit heavy - but I'm fine with it and like the overall simplicty of the design better than the Medela.

It was hard to decide which to buy between the medela and this pump but I chose this in the end because it was cheaper. It doesn't take much time at all to get used to it and is very comfortable (especially with the rubber petal in the funnel). I have had mine for about a month now and use it about once a day, its helping to keep my milk going when my baby is either sick or fussy and doesn't eat much. There are lots of extra things that it comes with but as I already have bottles, I don't use that much of it.
Avent ISIS iQ Duo
The ISIS iQ Duo is the big sister of the Uno (described above). It has the same button-activated electronics which "learn" the way you pump and continues it for you automatically, and the same let-down massage cushion to stimulate your milk flow. The difference is of course that the Duo has double-pumping capabilities meaning you can empty both breasts simultaneously, saving you loads of time.
The tradeoff is that it is quite a bit more expensive then the Uno, and has a few fussy wires and parts to it which makes it a bit more complicated to set up. But once you've done it a couple of times you soon get the hang of it. And it generally comes with a carry bag to keep everything together.
Here's a short video explaining how to assemble and use the Duo - a lot of it applies to the Uno as well:

exactly what i expected! comes with a nice case to carry everything in, which is perfect for work. It also comes with a couple of bottles. I only use avent bottles with this. And i bought about 8 more to have available. i haven't tried other bottles but i doubt you can use them. however, i do freeze my milk into little milk cubes and then use cheaper bottles to give to the child care center. as for the pace, if you try to mimic ur baby it's super easy to do. my baby is a little baracuda so it only takes 5min to pump 4 onces out of each. And one last thing. you can use this as a single pump...so the baby can eat on one side and you can pump the other. And you can use it as a hand pump. And there is a car adapter...

With this pump I am able to get enough milk for two of my daughter’s feedings in 10 minutes. I think that the massage cushions really help to make this pump comfortable. The bag makes it really easy to bring my Isis Duo to work everyday. My only complaint is that the motor is a bit top heavy, but I would still recommend this pump to anyone especially working moms.
